Get help

The fastest way to reach us is to open an issue. A maintainer typically replies within a few business days.

Bug reports

Please include:

• Your platform and OS version (e.g. macOS Sonoma 14.4, or iOS 18)
• Fathom version (macOS: Fathom menu → About Fathom; iOS: Settings → scroll to the version footer)
• Steps to reproduce
• What you expected to happen
• What actually happened — error messages, unexpected output, screenshots if relevant

Feature requests

Briefly describe the dive-planning scenario you’d like to support and why the current behavior doesn’t fit. Concrete examples (depth, time, gas, what you’d want the planner to do) help more than abstract asks.

Privacy questions

For anything related to data handling, the privacy policy is the primary reference. Specific questions can also be raised via the issue tracker.

In-app help

Fathom ships with built-in usage documentation covering plan setup, gas switching, repetitive dives, the logbook, and the deco / dive-planning primer. On macOS, open the Help menu; on iPhone/iPad, open Settings → Help.
